Definitions

  • “Website” – refers to all online content hosted on Author Rise Publishing’s site.
  • “Customer,” “You,” or “Your” – means any individual or entity placing an order for services or products, whether for personal or business use.
  • “Company,” “We,” or “Our” – refers to Author Rise Publishing, a registered entity under U.S. law.
  • “Product” – includes all services and deliverables provided by Author Rise Publishing based on the Customer’s Order.
  • “Order” – any confirmed request for services or products made via website, phone, or email, validated through payment by credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or any other approved method.

Refund Policy

Change of Mind

  • A full refund may be requested before work has begun.
  • If cancellation occurs within one hour of placing an order, we will issue a refund (minus a 15% processing fee if requested after one hour).

Unsatisfactory or Incomplete Delivery

  • Refund requests will only be considered after all revision options have been used.
  • If the final product still does not meet the documented requirements, a partial refund may be granted upon mutual agreement.

Delayed Delivery

  • We value On-Time Delivery. If we fail to meet the agreed deadline after three documented attempts to contact us, a refund may be considered if the delay is confirmed to be our fault.

Refund Request Period

  • All refund requests must be submitted within 60 days of delivery. Requests after this period will not be honored.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Delays caused by the client (e.g., lack of response, missing information) are not grounds for a refund.
  • Minor issues such as typographical errors may qualify for partial refunds or service credits, but not a full refund.

Revision Policy

  • Editing Orders – We will revise edited content to correct objective or technical errors. Additional revisions beyond this may be billed separately.
  • Ghostwriting Orders – Revisions will be provided until sections are approved by the client. Once approved, further changes will be considered new editing work and charged accordingly.

Closed Projects

If a project remains inactive for 45 days due to lack of client response, it will be marked as Closed. A reactivation fee may apply if the client wishes to continue.

Copyright & Ownership

  • All completed deliverables are original and become the property of the client once full payment is received.
  • Author Rise Publishing does not claim ownership over client work.
  • Clients agree not to misuse, resell, or repurpose our work without authorization.

No Plagiarism Commitment

  • Author Rise Publishing strictly complies with copyright laws and does not condone plagiarism.
  • All work delivered is original and created to professional standards.
  • We are not responsible for any misuse of our work by clients once delivered.

Image Usage Policy

  • Unless specifically created by our team, we do not hold copyright over stock or third-party images.
  • Clients are responsible for securing licenses for any copyrighted images used in their projects.
  • We may provide royalty-free image suggestions; however, licensing costs for premium content may apply.

Limitation of Liability

Author Rise Publishing, along with its employees and affiliates, shall not be held responsible for:
  • Technical failures, website downtime, or typographical errors.
  • Any damages (direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) resulting from use of our website or services.
  • Legal claims arising from misuse of our products, violation of third-party rights, or breach of these terms by the client.
You agree to indemnify and hold Author Rise Publishing harmless from any such claims, including legal fees and third-party disputes.

Amendments

Author Rise Publishing reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
